This book reports on the research-action project that developed from a reflection on the potential of graphic design to contribute to a better representation of the University of Strasbourg and Knowledges. This is a complex institution, whose history and reputation are today combined with international, intercultural and interdisciplinary dynamics.
For three years, the project combined a speculative research approach - combining inventory, theoretical reflection and the development of models - with a practical approach, consisting of inventing and designing a new identification and representation system for the University of Strasbourg.
